black series, 2015

Carefully choosing the colours for the scene in this series, the artist goes into the black, then into full-wave spectrum colour. The black absorbing all colour, it does not reflect its surroundings at all. It is nothing and all in the very same moment. Following an instinctive feeling of harmony he brings to every work until its technical and visual completion, causing roller to smash paint until it ceases to mark the paper.

Obtaining a verbal interpretation of emptiness when there is nothing more to add, because it needs to say no more. The pigment selected ‘carbon oxide’ is the most common colour in many branches of modern industry as well as the oldest known to mankind - simple coal, used on rock painting by primitive man.

The works are executed on museum standard natural white German paper, without bleaching and chemical additives.
