H.D Galerie presented Alex Kuznetsov’s solo exhibition Unplanned Decisions at 45 rue Vivienne in Paris. The exhibition brought together large and mid-scale acrylic paintings from 2024 and 2025, installed as measured sequences that emphasised structure, weight and duration.
Developed through Kuznetsov’s process-based method, the works balance control and contingency. Layered surfaces are formed with industrial tools, allowing decisions to emerge during the act of painting rather than from a predetermined image.
