Alex Kuznetsov participated in Epicentro, a group exhibition at Convento dos Cardaes in Lisbon, curated by Manuel D’Olivares. The project connected neighbouring cultural institutions with the history, architecture and rituals of the convent.
Kuznetsov presented two large dark-blue acrylic paintings, each measuring 240 × 183 cm, installed as a diptych. Their measured chromatic field responded to the site’s azulejo tradition through duration, repetition and slow looking.
